Here's some more info I gleaned from Gnome Commander and terminal:
brianokeefe at ubuntu:/media/For_Linux$ ls -a -l
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2007-02-20 11:13 .
drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4096 2007-02-21 09:25 ..
-rw------- 1 root root 0 2007-02-20 11:13 .created_by_pmount
When I hover the cursor over "For_Linux" in Gnome Commander it shows "Go
to: For_Linux (/media/For_Linux-1)"
So some link was created here. I do recall touching the "up" arrow while
in terminal after transcode had finished and a "[C" showed up in the
last line. Did that created this p-mount file? Can I just rename the
directory back to "For_Linux" or will that cause some sort of screw up.
I'd like to just get back to the status quo of having the "For_Linux"
directory.
Thanks again!
