Hi Tom,

   I used to make the SF meetings regularly, but my work schedule has prevented it for the last few months, which I regret, because I had lot of fun and made some good friends through that group.  (Hi Ted, how's the x200 been treating you?) 

   I've been talking off-list with someone else who recently wrote in from Albuquerque by the name of Mark.  He and I have been tossing around the idea of (re)-forming an ABQ chapter of the NMGLUG.  Right now, we're looking around for good venue ideas (the best we've go so far is either Flying Star or one of the UNM libraries).  We're also thinking about maybe setting up a dedicated forum and/or a separate mailing list.

   So maybe if we can get an ABQ group going sometime soon, you'll have a place to ask all of your GNU/Linux-related questions.  I'm sure there are others on this list who cannot make it to the SF meetings and who would be interested in another option.  Can I see a show of hands?  Does anyone have any ideas on the perfect venue?
